Shelley Smith, ‘The Associates’ Actor and Former Model, Dies at 70

Associates" and "For Love and Honor" died on Tuesday after a cardiac arrest a few days ago. She was 70 years old.
Smith died at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, her husband, Michael Maguire, said in a video posted to Facebook on Wednesday.
“He loved helping people. Above all, he helped me. He made me a better person than I ever was.
We had a great marriage,'' Maguire said in the video. "I don't know how to go on without him.
But I do know that our relationship was incredible and it was as pure as anything could be.
Smith began her modeling career in the early 1970s, landing on the cover of Harper's Bazaar and earning features in Vogue, Mademoiselle and Glamor magazines.
In 1979, he ventured into the world of television and made his star debut in "The Associates" alongside Martin Short, Wilfrid Hyde-White and Eli Mills.
Smith appeared as Sarah James in all 13 episodes of the legal drama before it ended in 1980.
