CANTON - In 1990, Richie Williams, then 4 years old, went to his first Hall of Fame game.
Since then, neither he nor his father Rick Williams has had a single chance.
The Canton native will play his 33rd consecutive game tonight when the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets face off.
Richie Williams said, "We have seen many great moments over the years. The start of the football season in Canton is usually exciting."
Ed's long series of Hall of Fame appearances has introduced him to new customs, star products, and a whole lot of life lessons.
Rick Williams, 65,'s Hall of Fame game experience began long before his son was born.
His first game was in 1969, when the Green Bay Packers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 38–24.
After that, Rick tried his best to attend every game, until 1975.
He was a 17-year-old restaurant employee, scheduled to work during the Hall of Fame Game. Unfortunately, he missed the game.
