Lewis Capaldi has confirmed he will take a mental health break following his set at Glastonbury Festival.

On stage at the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury yesterday (24 June), Capaldi - who was apparently experiencing vocal difficulties -

She addressed the recent break she took before the festival performance, saying:

"I recently took three weeks off. It was a break for my mental health and other things."

"I wanted to come back and do Glasto because it's so incredible, so I just want to thank you for watching us.

I was very scared but you really made me feel comfortable. I'm really sorry.

I hope Avices will bring me back, even if it has been a poor show,'' he added.

Capaldi then told the audience that he would take a long break after the set: "I think I'll take another short break for the next few weeks, maybe you won't see me for the rest of the year.
