'King Of The Hill' Dale Voice Actor Johnny Hardwick Dead At 64

Mike Judge, co-creator of "King of the Hill" and the voice of Hank Hill, told TMZ... "I am deeply saddened by the passing of my friend Johnny Hardwicke.
He was a great writer, actor and comedian, and he will be greatly missed."
Johnny Hardwicke, best known for playing Dale Gribble on "King of the Hill," has passed away.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they were called to Hardwick's Texas home on Tuesday for a welfare check, and his body was found there.
We're told Hardwick was pronounced dead at the scene... and no foul play is suspected. We do not know the cause of death yet.
Johnny began performing stand-up comedy in Texas in 1990, eventually making his first stand-up appearance on "The Jon Stewart Show" a few years later.
Most people remember Johnny from his work on the long-running animated sitcom, "King of the Hill"...
In which he played Dale, the conspiracy theory-obsessed friend of the show's main character, Hank Hill.
Dale took on nearly every imaginable job - dealing with menial jobs such as exterminator, camp counselor, bounty hunter, and, of course, propane salesman.
Johnny lent his voice to 258 episodes of the series. For your information, "King of the Hill" aired a total of 259 episodes.
