DJ Casper, creator of 'Cha Cha Slide,' dies at 58

DJ Casper, the creator of the popular song Cha Cha Slide, passed away on August 7 after a battle with kidney and liver cancer. He was 58 years old.
DJ Casper, born in 1965 and raised in Chicago, was an iconic American DJ and songwriter.
His wife, Kim, announced that he had tragically lost his battle with the disease.
In 2016, DJ Casper was diagnosed with two types of cancer – renal and neuroendocrine, affecting his kidneys and liver.
Despite the diagnosis, he remained resilient and continues to inspire others with his positivity.
He once said, "To anyone who is going through cancer, know that you have cancer and cancer is not you."
His determination was evident when he said, "If you know me, you know I'm not going to stop. I'll keep going until I can't go on."
