Actor Cillian Murphy said he read the Bhagavad Gita to prepare for filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer.

J. Robert Oppenheimer, a physicist who helped create the first atomic bomb, is the subject of the film.

Because of his involvement in the Manhattan Project, the physicist is often referred to as the "father of the atomic bomb".
